my computer has a corupted file and my computer's sound doesn't work how do i fix it?

Driver reset tool
(if you don't know where it's at then do a search)
>Start
>Search "Driver reset tool"
then that should work. If not then you might need a new sound card.
You can also try defragmenting your 'c' Drive

Reinstall the drivers for the sound card. Go to the manufacturer's web site and download the latest audio driver for your PC. Follow their instructions for how to install it (Different for each card).

Go to device manager and UN install sound driver then restart computer a new driver will be installed.
