i have recently removed Norton Anti-virus from my computer. when uninstalling, i was given a few options..i have obviously clicked on where it said...''remove completely all of the components''..i have done so and restarted the computer. perfect..i didn't find norton anywhere in control panel and didn't see it operating. but in start menu, all programmes, internet and security..i find it. what to do? when i click it it doesn't open anything anyway. but any possible solution?

My Windows Movie Maker program has stopped working properly and I have been advised to re-install SP2 but I wondered if it alters or removes any of my programs, settings or files as I dont want to re-install all my programs etc.
So does re-installing SP2 remove anything?

I have used it for years! I know how it works! But now something's going wrong. I type a line, I press enter twice, then I type another line. Then I click on the first line and click on "Centre" - all lines are centred. Then I click on one of the other lines and click on left-justified. All lines get left-justified. I've now discovered that if I click "undo" after this it does what it should have done all along which is to apply the formatting only to the paragraph that I am in. Why is it doing this now? Any clues, anybody?

please help me, ive done this video on my flight simulator and i wanna convert it from .fsr to windows media player. ive searched everywhere, but havn't been able to find anything. i dont mind wherever its from as long as i can use it and it doesn't harm my system. I know of camera capture programs which capture the screen as a video, but i need one that converts as my laptops graphics card has gone and i havn't been able to make it work, and even if it does, i would have to wait 5

a strange thing happend to my computer recently, suddenly every time i open almost any program (even IE, MSN and WMP) i get the ms error message (the one with Send Error Report and Don't Send Buttons) and sometimes i get a msg like it but with only (Close) button, what happened??

I use Excel in my business, we sell products online, every day when we send our orders out (using excel) we copy and past all the orders onto a excell worksheet. we have 1 worksheet for each month and that sheet list all the orders and products that were shipped to each customer. I need a way to add up all the products that shipped each month. below is an example
DAY Product QTY
1 MB1 3
2 MB5 1
3 MAN 2
4 MB1 1
5 MAN 9
ETC

then on another worksheet I would have a list of every product we sell and somehow add up all the products sold that month for each item.

IS this possible ?

my computer recomended that I automatically update IE from version 6 to 7, so I duly clicked yes, went through the whole setup and now the program just won't open. There is an icon on the desktop, but every time i click it, it flashes as if it'll open, then it just shuts down. No error message, nothing? Is there a solution? Muc obliged.

I recently installed XP and my computer is slow need help with this too please. Anyway, installed Nero 6 says no ASBI or something like that what to do?

Part II - Installed XP but in program files shows all of my old stuff like Excel, etc. but not there when i click on them says not installed could this stuff be making my comp. slow? Even after defrag it's slow and shows a bunch of blue contagious files on defrag. PLEASE HELP.

my lime wire isnt working when u open it the normal pop up comes up and eveything but when u try to get the pop up away so then u could start working with lime wire it closes the hole thing and im using mac book pro and it closes anyone no why?

Whenever I download music off of the internet and then go to put it into iTunes, it will make 2 copies of each song. It's okay when I look at iTunes, but when I actually go into the iTunes music folder, there will be two copies of each song, and I will have to manually remove the copy. Is there something i need to adjust in preferences?

Every time I reboot now in Windows XP, windows forgets all my setitngs. Everything that would be in the account under "documents and settings". If I press start it shows that I'm logged in as "owner", which is the only account I have. But if I go into Docs and settings there's like TEMP and now TEMP.STUDY (which has all the icons i just replaced AGAIN on the desktop). It also forgets stuff like my firefox settings. It's getting quite annoying now. I'm in the middle of a virus scan but it's almost done and hasn't found anything. Any help?
