Google Earth is (a) awesome, and (b) addictive! Try googling central Asia (Mongolia, Tibet, the Himalaya). This is mind-boggling terrain. Alternatively, the sand deserts in Saudi Arabia are pretty cool (if that's not a contradiction in terms). Iran has simply the most awesome mountains and geology (if you are into that sort of thing). Try Venice, New York, Paris, Rome or Moscow if you like city stuff. I googled my office in Houston and I can see individual cars in the car park! You can actually see people milling about on the streets of London... Try the World Cup / Olympic Stadium in Berlin, or the Pyramids of Egypt (as per previous contributor). Volcanoes are great too. And Glaciers. The Nazca lines in Peru take a bit more effort to track down. Maybe try to find the Great Wall of China (I have never managed to see this, which is bizarre as everybody says it's recognizable from space!). Or just pick a spot, anywhere, go down to say 30,000 ft, set the perspective to close to horizontal, and then go into "fly" mode. Sit there and just watch where it takes you (you need decent broadband connection to do this). If any of this fails to grab your imagination, I would suggest you un-install google earth and put some gaming software on your computer instead.

You can look at stuff, like......... stuff, you know..... I live in Bad Vilbel Germany, You can have a look at the roof of my house if you like, Let me know when and I will ask the local residents to stand in the street wearing red and white T-shirts, and arrange them in the shape of the St George flag...... Actually, Don´t that would be a big hassle as my German is ****.... but its an idea if you have lots of buddies,, ,,, Or you could go and make crop circles nad check out your art work from 40 000 ft, If you don´t have any corn fields, Then why not hit the local Village green or footbal pitch with a couple of cans of Weed Killer, On a bigger scale, you could write a big fakawf message to Extra terrestials Like "FARK OFF !" then see if your message is viewable from space, although you would have to write it across mainland Europe.
Any way I am gonna check Google Earth for Secret Terrorist training camps in Belgium and then get the CIA to launch a covert Air strike........ ,,,,,,

Well, maybe you should try to find your house and, from there, the quickest route to a cool vacation spot. Just an idea.
