I have only 5-6 fonts in C:\Windows\Fonts folder? (Control Panel > Fonts) by deleting unnecessary fonts to keep only the absolute minimum number of fonts necessary for proper display on my LCD screen?

I think I read all the fonts in Fonts folder are loaded in memory at startup so it occupies memory space which is at a premium.

Wont make a bit of difference! The only thing that will speed up your pc is to shut down programs that load on startup, buy more ram, defrag your hard drive, and remove any malware or adware in your pc!

Nope. Fonts are just files too. they might use space on your HD, but not more. Look if there are some unnecessary programs starting when you boot (in the Registry, in your Start panel). I've seen a program which can detect autostart programs and delete the links.
