Dont need inbound protection as im already behind a NAT. All i need is outbound protection that doesnt chew up heaps of resources unlike the full blown ZoneAlarm and similar highend software firewalls. Will windows firewall be enough for this? What do companies use to protect their client pcs?

those are some of the things it asks for but what made me think this was a scam was the fact that it wants my email but it sent one to me? also if this was really yahoo wouldnt they already have my email?

When ever I use a browser it asks me for the Password and Username

But I looked for it's default password and still got in...

Any other way like programs or something?

We had servere problems over the weekend with our computer
explicit adult pictures pop up. servere virus warnnings, we just had no idea what to do. Dr.Anti spy came on our screen so we purchased it, is our computer know at even more risk.
We gave our credit card details over the net, should we get intouch with our card company.Please help.

Since I restored my computer to IE7 and installed some updates I am having problems. The Internet and all programs are slow coming up, if I get them at all. And of course I blame the tiny window that pops up all over the place. It has an arrow in the left side and an arrow in the right sde. They are not the cause for the complete problem. It will lock everything up for a few seconds and nothing happens. Then it turns loose and everything works ok. I complain about this all the time but nothing is being done about it.
Then I tried to get into mail and a note said go to Tahoo! Mail. I had a hard time getting into Yahoo! Mail so I went back to home page. After a while I tried mail again. Got the same message but this time I was allowed to reach mail the ordinary way in spite of the note. I certainly wish there is some way I could get rid of this tiny popup for good.
I appreciate what ever one can do to help eliminate this problem.

I just downloaded MP3Rocket and it won't connect. It tells me that there might be a firewall blocking it. I turned off my firewall and it still will not work. Any suggestions?

My computer has been having many problems. I've been getting pop-up's constently by Outerinfo and ad.oinadserver.com. My computer has been running VERY SLOW. And there's constent noises from my PC. Oh and somthing always pop-ups saying Server Busy.... I have a hp pavillion a705w. How can I fix this so I won't get these constent problems and my computer can run smoothly. I think my computer is infected by Spyware.. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

It's for a store and we'll probably hook it up to a regular desktop. I'm looking for one that you would be able to view from home via DSL. In addition, a program that would save the video onto the desktop at the store, with the date and time. And would only activate when it detects motion.

I presumed that windows XP EFS was unbreakable, even by forensics (with the assumption that if they dont know your windows password - they cannot break into your acct to use your key...changing the password from admin will also change your key...am I right?) - then I keep reading that an expert in forensics can break EFS. If thats the case, why are we paying Microsoft money for a OS that has such a security flaw? The only other option I see is encryption software on the internet...however, the software decrypts the with a special password...every time you want to update that file (ie it could be a personal address book in word etc), you have to input password and un-encrypt the file to view. Once updated,you have to decrypt the file (manually with the software) again. What bloody palava that is.Not workable at all. What if the file is part of a working app as opposed to a data file? Is there anyway out there which guarantees data security?Note:EFS also lets ANYONE view the files names

pls. help! i just found out i can't open my drive c and drive e (flashdrive) and they have this imgkulot beside open and explore pull-down menu. i've read the other questions here and the answers, so i decided to take the plunge: i deleted imgkulot.* files on the following directories: c:\ & c:\windows\system32

now they can't be found but when i reboot my pc, and go to My Computer, I can still see the imgkulot word beside Open & Explore. i already deleted autorun.inf from my flash drive and it is now working perfectly well but my hard drive has the imgkulot even though i have already deleted them and reboot my pc. and i restore my backup registry but it is still there.

how can i completely erase imgkulot? thank goodness, at least my pc don't reboot like everybody else's pc is doing.
