Are you at work or home? If at work, check with someone there who is knowledgeable on your network topology. As stated before, being behind a firewall is a good thing.
If at home, then the firewall is either running on your computer or on a computer between you and the internet.
Stay behind the firewall. It's your protection from the bad guys.

It's not a bad thing that your Internet is protected by a firewall. Firewalls help fight against hackers, keyloggers, and other malicious logic. So, what that message is saying could be helping you not get your computer crashed.

ok... from what i know a alert most likely came up on whatever you were doing. Either you ignored it and it was blocked or you clicked no. So what you do is bring up the start menu. go to control panel. there should be something in there the says firewalls and protecions. i think you can go in that to unblock whatevers blocked. :) seeya!
