If your using a toolbar on yahoo. theres a tool there pop-up blocker , youll just have to enable it.
But if you dont have a search engine tool bar like google or yahoo toolbar, and your using internet explorer, try this one

Go to Tools, Then Click Pop-up Blocker, Then Click the Turn Off Pop-up Blocker..

well for me , alot of my toolbars have pop up blockers. and i recently upgraded to netzero dsl and it came with norton security online and thats been loads of help. u can always download a pop up blocker program too.
