the antichrist is all powerfull...i honestly bow down to the hacker GODS who created spydawn...however...i sincerely wish it gone... i would love to be the all powerful genious who created it...however, i would really like to end it..i have nothing that the malicious software would hope to gain...and, again...i bow to the masters...but seriously...can i get rid of it...prevx1 technically gets rid of the "visual" portion of it...however...it is still dominating my "homepage"...and sends me to some random crazy "anti-spyware" homepage....please help me kill this unholy hacker dream...

When I run Ad-Aware or Spybot they shut the PC down half way through running.
After running (and shuttng down the PC) numerous times they finally get to the end of the running process. When it reboots the PC shuts down and I have to reboot about 4 times before the PC gets to full welcome screen.
ALSO. When I run AVG anti-virus it 'changes' the registry at the beginning of the run. It does it all the time now! So there must be someting causing this?

I have registry mechanic and when I run this it shuts down the PC before getting through the full run, never getting to the end of the running scrollbar.
HELP :(

Recently someone with the PC name - Rabbi was using my wireless network without my permission. I used to left my wireless network run 24 hrs everyday - connecting to the Internet. I am worried that this Rabbi may land me in trouble with the police if he do something bad. Especially if my IP address show up in a hacked local bank network or corporate webste. Do you guys have any methods to stop this pirate. I am trying the following :

1. Switch off my broadband and router when not using at night - this cause my ip to release back to my ISP.

2 Set up wireless network password - which is useless against Rabbi.

Helps from you guys will be appreciated.

Thanks

Earlier today, I was reading an article about antique motorcycles when out of nowhere, somebody (or something) tried to install an isp on my computer. I heard a dial tone, and I saw a couple of new icons on my desktop. I immediately deleted the new icons, and while it tried to connect, I don't think it was successful.

What gives? Why would somebody try to install an isp on my desktop? Just to get me to look at their website? That seems like a really complicated way of going about it.

Which of these three computer Anti Virus is the most effective Norton, McAffee or AVG? I am always on line, thus exposed to all dangers in the internet.

Okay, so I added this guy on facebook who has been sending weird messages about my friend "scamming" other people on other sites.

The thing is I used a fake facebook account.
And I used to a FAKE hotmail account to sign up for that phony facebook account as well.

So I added the guy.
And the next thing I know, he logged onto my REAL account and added me on my fake account.
(If you're still reading this, I hope you understand what I'm saying)

Well, frankly I'm quite scared... and impressed.
How did he do it?
Is there something I can do to prevent something like this from happening again (other than NOT adding mysterious people).

i saw somewhere that you download something from linux (a live CD) and then you use some commands..or something like that.

if could get a walk trough it'd be great

Lost my password and for a security reason i always put incoherent things in the hint so i don't remember it.

I've been ripping my hair out trying to get rid of this AOL instant messaging virus. I've done everything. I cleaned my registry, deleted my internet history, cookies, temp fies, downloaded Ad-Aware. PLEASE help me, I'm desperate. I have another virus that always gives me this WinAntivirus popup that won't go away until I close all my internet windows. I'm on the urge of wiping out my harddrive and starting over, but I don't want to do that. PLEASE HELP!

I get this when I'm on Ebay looking at stuff! It just started happening a few days ago when I got a couple of spam emails at my Yahoo account. These 2 emails won't let me delete/open/reply to them unless I OK my security program to allow the transmission of my phone number which I don't won't to do! What can I do to rid myself of this annoying problem? Thanks for any help!
