Spybot Search and Destroy's Immunize tool will prevent dangerous hijackers, Google it.

Browser hijacker is a spyware program which can change your browser settings, redirect to some other pages or put a bunch of pop-ups on your screen. If your PC connection is rather slow, one of the reasons may be, that you have a browser hijacker on your system. If you're thinking you have such parasite on your computer, you must get rid of it as soon as possible until it didn't damage your PC.

Use these scans to remove it.
All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free.After you install any of them,make sure you update them to get the full affect.

i recommend you install spyware guard (formerly called hijack this) you can get it free at pc world it will prevent that type of attack i run it on my system
