I need to find a keylogger I can run secretly...we do have Spybot, AVG, and Adaware on our PC...so I need something that will stay hidden even with those programs....ANy ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

If I bought a used computer and I want to start fresh- Get rid off all spyware or images or anything hidden in the computer ( watched 20/20 your computer may get hacked and am now scared) what do I do? I don't want anything gros on there thats not mine. The 20/20 report said hackers can store pics on other people computers- How do I protect my computer from that happening? Thanks.

I am running Windows XP Pro, and for the past few days, I have had a strange version of services.exe running at startup. It looks to me like some sort of threat, and I cannot disable it. Here is what I've found so far:

1. The file is located in the C:\Windows folder, not the C:\Windows\System32 folder where the legitimate Microsoft version of services.exe is located.

2. It is marked as a system file.

3. Norton A/V full system scan run twice and no viruses were discovered. Virus definitions are current.

4. Full system scan ran with both Spybot and Ad-Aware , no adware/spyware/malware found. Definitions up to date.

5. Security Task Manager (by Neuber Software) finds this file to be a threat. It appears to be trying to reach a website on the net: http//badmental3.netfirms.com/bad.gif, and then Microsoft.com. This first site does not exist.

6. I searched the registry for services.exe, and no references to this file were found except for the legitimate Microsoft file

This morning, I checked the accounts on my computer and there was an account like "NET ...." or something, which wasn't visible in the login screen (I use Windows XP), and just just now, McAfee ActiveShield (VirusScan) was disabled. And before, I clicked Submit to submit a comment on YouTube, and it linked me to a video of lesbians kissing and then a video of some guy who takes a photo of himself everyday. Hacked?

I m seeing the following problems in my PC.
1. when i close any internet explorer window by X, it closes but another about blank window opens. Generally I m not able to close it by X. either i have to use ctrl+alt+del or shut down.
2. Many times when I open any explorer window by clicking any link, it opens but hang.

I understand that this is happening due to some spyware. I have run symantec anti virus, some times it detects trojan and remove it but the problem still exists.
I want to know the following.
1. How can i remove this problem.
2. What are the harms, which might have already been made by this spyware?

idda1.tmp.exe
idd132.tmp.exe which are present in temp folder ..even i delete it ..it repeats
