The question is---are you the one who pirated it? If so, it sounds like maybe you are feeling guilty, one of the other answers says its too.
late if done with a computer and it recorded your IP address, my
answer is, if you did it, deleting might make you feel better, but just don't do it again!

Pirated music and software can contain viruses, trojans, malware, spyware, all or any of witch can fry your sytem by causing any or all of the following hard drive disk boot failure, cpu self over clocking leading to damge that causes premature cpu failure, and can even make your motherbourd go up in flames if even so much as powered on in some instances. But more likely is that they have stolen your credit card numbers bank account access passwords and stolen and or compromised your private data stored on your pc. Often times victims of identity theft report having used pirated software, music, pictures or other illegal content on the computer they owned.

If you get caught, deleting them wont stop a computer expert from finding them on your hard drive. Also if you get caught they wont need the files on your computer anyway...they will say they have proof of your IP downloading said illegal files. So there is no point in deleting them. If you get caught it is already too late.

just burn it to dvds and if you ever get that knock on your door by people in black suits throw em in the microwave for 3 seconds, poof, done.
