Security - January 2007

I have the Norton Internet Security and I still got a virus. It is called the Trojan.Peacomm? What is this and how can I get rid of it? When I go to "protect me from the virus" it tells me to get a purchase a new program. I think it happend because of Ares. Whenever I turn my firewall off to download movies and songs etc problems occur with the computer. This is the first time this is happening! so I need as much help as i can possibly get! My main question is how do i get rid of the virus and would i be able to find out what site or program the virus came from? Thankyou for everyones help!

OK so Norton Security popups with this warning that it can't protect me from viruses unless I purchase the full version. So I want to know what other programs are their that can protect me from viruses that is free ???

There's so much talk about making hard codes, but it seems simple! For example, the code could be just a string of a million numbers. That would last at least a million letters of encryption.

Add/remove doesn't work. Going directly to the F secure directory doesn't work either. I am trying to install another antivirus program but I'm unable to because it seems that F secure is hardwired into my computer. What should I do?

Im so sad right now, i feel suicidal. Please help me. I have this amazing PC, and i wanted to watch a video on the net. When i clicked to watch, it asked me to download an active x thing for windows media player to update it. All of a sudden, i find out i have a trojan horse. Please help me. How do i get rid of it. I have an icon from Norton that is flashing non stop on my task bar. Norton says I am not protected from the virus that spread quick, they say the name is " Peacomm " a Trojan, but I have downloaded the Symantec Updates 4 or 5 times now and it is still there, I have also done a virus scan and the thing says it is all OK, any ideas ?

Under my Norton Internet Security "outbreak alert", I have "Trojan Peacomm", I run " protect me now", I was told " the outbreak alert cann't protect from rapidly spreading thread at this time, please trun the full system scan, and I did , but didn't show any infection, do I really have Trojan in my computer?

I have a small buiness, providing birth support to local families. On my website, I have a "Want more Info?" form for people wo fill out so I can send them more information or talk with them on the phone. The past week I have been getting tons of fake submissions, from people wanting me to visit their porn sites. How can I make my form more secure so these people can't send me SPAM through it? I have limited knowledge of html, enough to make the website myself. I am hosting it through yahoo.
