OK so Norton Security popups with this warning that it can't protect me from viruses unless I purchase the full version. So I want to know what other programs are their that can protect me from viruses that is free ???

CA, Computer Associates will let you have one year trial and they are possibly the best and biggest in the usa. they originally just handled businessses but have added personal accounts. There is Panda. etc. etc. Go to MSN downloads and there is a list of possibilities.

Free? You get what you pay for.
Spybot and Adaware will get rid of a lot of annoying stuff, but they'll leave you open to virus attacks. Both of these programs can be downloaded off the Internet.

there is a cd that comes with the computer its called norton internet security u could download it and then it will start immeditly don't lose the number that is wrote

you can get the serial number probably from seriall.com or other serial cracking websites, just google Norton Security serial code/number, it will pop up somewhere
