I have now close to 100 SPAM addresses blocked, yet I still receive about the same number daily. I note the same SPAMs are being sent under different addresses after I had them blocked earlier. It seems the Spamers just use new addresses to continue sending their stuff!!

Trying to limit the time on the internet by using the wireless softwar but there is a nother wireless network in range that my kids connect to. Is there a way I can not let them connect to the other open network using some kind of administrator control?

I just changed my Internet security to PC-cillin and keep getting a notice that the same computer is accessing my connection and I tell it that I want to block the computer - but it keeps coming up again and again. I'm sure it's probably just a neighbor and not intentional, but how do I block it permanently?

I think it's interesting that I never got a message like this with Norton Internet Security. Did Norton just not detect it or was it blocking more effectively? I also just changed my browser to firefox - could that have anything to do with it?

I do surveys that say I am entered into lottery drawings so I hate to just ignore them. I am leary of these because they say they are from Microsoft yet are from the UK....Not the United States. Is there some way I can find out if they are legitimate? They have 2 different ways to get the money. Ask for my address and they will send a check or direct deposit it into my account

I had Norton Internet Security 2005, and it has just expired. I have read on here that people say to use AVG, do I delete Norton first and then download AVG and also what else do I need to get to make sure I'm fully protected. Sensible answers please!

I would appreciate it if there a simple program to do this - I use McAfee Security centre and it has not worked.

Other sites show complicated threads, and routines that for an old age person like me are far too complicated.

I have MP3Rocket (music program)and up until 3 dyas ago it worked fine. Now all of a sudden it wont connect. A firewall has been detected. I never put one on and I haven't done anything different to my computer! Everything else on my computer works fine and I've uninstalled Norton but I still cant get the MP3Rocket to work. I was told to go to Network Connections in my control panel but I dont have that. Please help!!! All I want to do is use my player!!!!!!!!

Everytime I start a new instance of Internet Explorer I get redirected from my homepage to thesafetytool.com even though that's not what is set for my homepage. No matter how many times I run adaware and spybot, it seems to pick up PestTrap and claims it quarantined them but it keeps showing up.

Any ideas what else I can do?

I found a bunch of spyware on my comp. from porn sites. I never go to these sites so how do they attach? Can they attach from going to other sites that have no correlation w/porn or do you actually have to go to a porn site for these to attach? I had zillions of these things on my comp. and I've only been doing researches on animal type stuff. Why would I get porn stuff?
