I would appreciate it if there a simple program to do this - I use McAfee Security centre and it has not worked.

Other sites show complicated threads, and routines that for an old age person like me are far too complicated.

All responses are very gratefully appreciated and I thank all those that reply in advance.

May god bless you all.

Trojan-spy.win32@mx is fake warning message generated by the Zlob trojan. To remove this message and the trojan that generates it, download and scan your PC with SpyNoMore, it seems to be the most accurate program in detecting zlob infections.

By the way it is not free, but then again you should really question any so-called free solution. Isn't that how your computer got infected in the first place?!. The free scan will only check your system and show you the infections. If you choose to remove them, be prepared to pay.

There maybe special instructions on getting rid of the trojan. I use SpyBot with the teatime turned on so I decide what is allowed to be installed on the computer's registry. It also blocks and removes spyware, Trojans, and other malicious intent on the computer. You can also try Microsoft's new tool as well. Both are free

I have researched this issus a bit. I am sorry to say there does not look like just one program is going to get rid of it. Try these steps to see if it goes away.....

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

Download, update and run Adaware---http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/products/select_your_product.php

Download HijackThis---http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php#hijackthis. Run and Save a Log. When you log comes up copy and paste the entire log at http://www.hijackthis.de/ . Analyze your results. You will then get a screen that will tell you if you have any nasty stuff in your computer. Follow instructions to deal with any nasties. CAUTION: This is a very powerful tool. Be careful.

I will try my best to help you by email if you want to email me. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

Whatever you do, don't download whatever the balloon recommends, that's part of it...

I would recommend Spybot Search&Destroy from Cnet.com for free (and Ccleaner is a nice download to clean up your files).

If that doesn't work, PC Tools Spyware Doctor cleans up everything, is recommended by cnet and cosumer reports, but it cost $30. (Once you clean up your computer, be careful with the On Guard, it can slow down your computer).
