What is the meaning of batch jobs in SAP? I heard it lot of times that batch jobs are different than background jobs. Is it so. Can anyone help me in understanding this. Thanks in advance.

i still use dial up connection. when i dial the provider phone number. i get hooked in. i can the the byte sent and received working, but why i cant open a web page? i cant enter Yahoo messanger.. when i 1 2 download file like MSN, it says tt i am not connected with internet yet, but why?
i am 100% sure i already connected with my provider, the time is working, the bytes send and received is working
when i ping the provider DNS on C:/cmd. it say requested time out.
it never happen like this before until 2 days ago. any suggestion?

I am trying to delete a file but it keeps saying the file is either being used by another person or program but I can't see any application programs running in Task Manager. I even tried deleting it in Safe Mode but still that didn't work. Scanned it with Norton antivirus but no virus nor trojans detected.

The extension of the file is .DVDSCR.XVID-DVL.avi

I have tried to open the file in windows media player and notepad.

Could computer whiz shed some light on this problem for everyone's benefit?

How is this possible?

i was downloading a sort of free trial scanning of WinAntiVirus Pro 2006 (actually it says free)and it found out that my system is infected with virus.since then,everytime i open my account in yahoo,the WinAntiVirus Pro will pop up.I wanted to register because it says that my system will be cured if i register.I wanted to know how much does it cost.You know i am still naive to this internet thing.

There is NO spam report on Yahoo msgr feature for mac users. If you have PC, don't bother because you do not know what it is like. Yahoo msgr for PC is far ahead than it is for Mac. What I have is so old fashioned... no picture, no fancy stuff. It is what you had from 3 or 4 years ago. Old fashioned and ugly. There is no message archive. This is the latest messenger for iMac. Do not ask me to download the same one again. If you have PC... please do not assume. I used to have PC... I know the difference.

I have started to find sub-directories called MCE0000x in my \temp directory. They all contain two files MCE0000x.CDD and .MCE0000x.MLD. These are "in use" so won't delete. There are now hundreds of them for no apparent reason. I have McAfee AV in use so probably not a virus.

A couple of days ago my computer was hacked through my internet connection, so i did what most people would do i erased everything and tried to start over. but when i went to go and re-install windows i noticed i couldn't make the screen resolution smaller, then i noticed i couldn't add any hardware so obviously my computer is not being used now. my question is what can i do. i'm pretty good when it comes to computers but this time i couldn't do anything...if anyone has had the same problem and fixed it please let me know!!! a laptop only works for soo long.
