my computer is infected !!! when i use any yahoo application i get ''internet explorer has encounted a problem and needs to shut down'' message. I tried to remove the virus via AVG and Adawear...but when i run these programs they freeze up when they get to the infected file. how can i remove the virus?? im at my wits end !!! ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED...THANKYOU.

My Yahoo.com was down all day yesterday and last night. Did anyone else have this problem? What causes cookies and does going into chat lines and old history books cause your computer to become infected? I have 2 anti spam programs on my internet. every time I run Ad-Aware it finds virtumonde. I delete it and next time I run ad-aware it reappears. I also use AVG Anti-virus and spybot but they never find it. Only ad-aware. I did find Norton has a removal tool I used it but it seems to come back. Any suggestions?

So I get this email from "paypal update team".... they claim that i need to update my account or I might lose it!! Problems is I NEVER created an account or even thought of starting one. So I go to the PayPal website and look for some some answers as to why Im getting this email... I go to the Spoof and fraud section,... they advise to forward the email to them and delete it. So I did... Next I get an email saying that "In fact" that email didnt come from them, so to be careful with my account!! So email them again, explaining that I never created an account with them and that I would like for them to look more into it and erase me from their database, i have never payed a fee for their service so How can I be a client of theirs?? Today I get an Automated email saying to Be careful with my account and to only log in using the paypal site, just to be safe!! How do I get through to this retards??????
