myspace has the potential to be very bad, but it also can be really great since you can listen to music and meet interesting people. you can try using that anonymous proxy and it should work for a while, or maybe not if the blocker is really good.
if your use of myspace is really innocent, you can also try talking to your parents and showing the good features to them, like the calendaring and music and all. and also work with them so they see that you are not putting all kinds of personal details about yourself out there for the world to see. because you're not, are you? because honestly, that would just not be really smart.
add your parents as friends. get them to add you. show them that there is nothing really to be scared of, if everyone acts smart and is reasonably careful. i am an old person and i use myspace for arts and crafts.

Easiest way is to use a proxy. I will leave it to you to do the research on how to do it as I personally hate myspace and believe it to be a good thing you are locked out.

hi, i don't know what the blocker it is. perhaps some university block myspace intentionally.
but i recommand you can try firefox. firefox is more safe than IE.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
firefox can edit which site/popup to block and unblock.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
