So I go to the PayPal website and look for some some answers as to why Im getting this email... I go to the Spoof and fraud section,... they advise to forward the email to them and delete it. So I did... Next I get an email saying that "In fact" that email didnt come from them, so to be careful with my account!! So email them again, explaining that I never created an account with them and that I would like for them to look more into it and erase me from their database, i have never payed a fee for their service so How can I be a client of theirs?? Today I get an Automated email saying to Be careful with my account and to only log in using the paypal site, just to be safe!! How do I get through to this retards??????

A genuine Pay Pal e-mail will be directly addressed to you inside the message body, such as Dear Joe Smith. The fake messages always say "Dear Pay Pal Member". These message try to lure you to update your account through a link in the message. Never click on these links. The message is a scam to steal your account information.

The origninal email isn't from Paypal, so Paypal isn't even involved except that someone used their name to Phish you. Just DO NOT give that original email people any info on you ever! Just delete them. Oh and just leave PayPal alone--if you didn't start an account with your info, then there isn't anything for them to do for you. Until you find out that someone has committed fraud or identity theft of your info, Paypal can't do anything. If that happends, call the police to make a report and inform PayPal.

If you never signed up for Paypal then contact paypal via there web site. Because this is a scam. Paypal has never sent me a email about my account. Which I have and use it alot. If they did it was in my log in messages on there site. So if you get these get ahold of paypal. Do not respond to the email.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!
It is an attempt for you to follow the link and fill out your credit card or bank info on a look alike site.
Never go to these sites or reply to these emails. Mark them as spam, delete or report to cyber authorites with your email server.

I get them all the time from banks I dont even do business with.
