I think I might have divulged credit card info into a fraudulent website. I've notified my financial institution.

Use www.scandoo.com while open any page.You have icon displaying whether it is secure or unsecure site.

Lucky for you that you used a credit card not a debit card. The most you are liable for is $50.00 Was this site from google? Download site advisor. It will tell good from bad.

I too have been duped by a fraudulent company. The one way to know if it's a fraud is that the email will say "dear, your name". If it says "dear customer" know right away that it's fraud and report it. Paypal & ebay's fraud department is spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com. Chase Bank's fraud department is abuse@chase.com. If you have to Domain Name, you can look up the OWNER.

For instance, if the domain was paypal.com, you can look that up at any WHOIS directory.
