To all the computer experts out there. With no end in sight to trojan writers, do you believe it is a good idea to run two antivirus programs or are you looking to cause more harm to your system with possible conflicts. (No one antivirus company seems to update the same viruses).

What anti spyware/adware would compliment my Firefox browser with AVG antivirus. I was using Mcafee suite......god that was slow.
Ideally I would like total protection, free possibly.....is there one product I could purchase that would deal with adware and spyware....I did see good reviews for Spyware Doctor. Thanks

i dont know what happend but its retardid an all i want is my stuff back i have my entire family contact on my buddie list amung emails that are important an i cant get back on it i mainly want my yahoo back i could careless about msn but i would like that one to an ive had the user names an passwords for msn and yahoo for so long ive completly forgotten every secret question an ive moved so many times i have no idea what zip code id orignaly started out with but if anyone can help please im beggin i didnt do anything wrong to anyone an im not in the mood for this bullshit so please if ya can help me im begging please please do

The McAfee program that was installed on my new computer (XP) had a trial period that is now over. We do not open suspicious emails or click on any links that don't seem right, but we get LOTS of "cute" forwards from well-meaning friends. I appreciate your opinion.

It's a system kid's parents sometimes put on there computer so that you have to log in to use the internet and it only gives you an hour on the internet and then you're banned for the day. You also can't go on Yahoo! anything, no Google Images, no pornography, no games no school helping information, no blogs . . .

i have really stubborn kind of adware or
spyware. its appearing in quick launch icons at bottom right. so i tried to
disable all quick launch applications from startup menu . but its still
there. so i tried spybot and some other adware . but
does't seems to be working. i have tons and tons of imp info in my comp
so i erasing window wud be my last option. so far i have tried
microsoft defender beta , norton anti virus and some other spyware and adware. i tried to restore system in old dates but it does't
seems to be working. and worst thing is , it turned my computer really
slow some times. so i belive it look like a potential virus to me now
.......do u have any other suggestions regarding this.
is it possible if i can download and run AVG or mckafee trial along with my norton antivirus. coz i still have 9 months of its subscription left.

i am currently using Mcafee but it makes my PC a bit slow especially during startup. Earlier i was using Panda which made things look faster but was an older version. i also dout if it is as effective as Mcafee and Norton. Is there any antivirus which is as effective as Mcaffee and Norton but does not effect the speed of my PC.

In my personal main box ( Not yahoo/ MSN) I recived a mail from one of my friend which cannot be opened. When I click on that mail outlook express freezes. I have to shut it by ctrl+ Alt+ Del .
