I have seen your 2 posts regarding privacy, and I have seen that you have received some decent, but also some misleading advice overall. What I gather from the 2 I have read is A) your mother is monitoring you, B) that it is not your computer. While I will not help you try to defeat the security I would like to know that you are adaquately informed about you are facing. No matter what advice you decide to take.

I don't know if you are over 18 or not, and at this point it reallty isn't relevant to me. More than likely your mother is using a keylogger program. Basically a keylogger will record every keystroke made on the computer into a log. It also tracks websites visited, and programs executed. Some keyloggers can even go as far as showing all email and IM text from both sides of a conversation.

Without Admin access you will not be able to uninstall these programs. Further unless identified by an anti spyware program like Adaware you will not even know which keylogger she is using.

While I can sympathize with your plight, and agree that security and privacy are very important, I would ask you this. If your Mother is the kind of person who would invade your privacy, what would she do regarding an attempt to destroy her monitoring. If it is her computer I would think it is highly possible that she might forbid you from using the computer all together.

I realize this doesn't help with resolving your problem, I just think it is something you should think about before going any further. My best suggestion would be to buy your own computer, or bite the bullet and follow the rules your Mother is trying to impose until you can.

Additional Info: There is no way easy way to break an Admin password on Windows. About the only thing you could do without knowing the password, or a good hacker is reinstall windows. To do that would erase all your data and set you back to an out of box condition. Following that you would need to change the Admin password on machine so she didn't know what it was, and would not be able to reinstall the keylogger. Of course she may not be running a keylogger, she may just be bluffing. Either way I don't see any easy solution to the your problem.

If you're talking about the Windows account, you can reinstall windows. Put your windows disk in the drive, and reset the computer. The computer should boot from the disk (if it doesn't, you'll have to change the Bios). Follow the steps they give you to reinstall Windows.

Be warned! This will reset most of your software as well as your passwords. You will have to reinstall all your drivers and any software you want to continue using. If you have any data you don't want to lose, you should back it up someplace else (a disk or network server) before reinstalling.

If it's your own desktop you can open the box and pull a special wire(refer to the manual) that will reset the password.
There s no other way, besides entereing correct password

You can't. Contact your systems administrator for assistance. Only he or she can install the programs.
