http://au.blogs.yahoo.com/better-homes-gardens/94/chocolate-spiders/ this is a site with a recipe for cute candy spiders to make for kids and i wanted to see the pic but I can't is it my puter blocking it or is it the site blocking it, I get a red X and when I right click or ?? and click on show pic, it won't come up, it just stops., how can I bring up the pic, do I have to change the settings on my security or ?? I want to see the picture :) 56 yr old puter dino thanks !~!

I have had my laptop for 5 yrs. I have noticed that is much slower at times. I defrag, disc clean up and delete files under the interment options in the control panel. Is there something else I should be doing. I also have the yahoo spy ware removal program that comes with the dsl package that I get. Are there any fee programs that can help.

I want to teach my brother a lesson. I'm fed up of him using the computer every times he comes around, which is every day. He doesn't contribute towards the bill even though he's got a few bob. idk why but my AOL 9.0 VR is being weird. ever since i re d/led it the other day... it keeps popping up maybe every minute. i use Internet Explorer and my mom uses AOL 9.0, and while I am on Internet Explorer or anything else, the AOL pops up and tells me to sign in and stuff. idk why its doing this. what can i do to stop it.

Myspace is blocked :( Anyways, I know how to get to the site but can anyone tell me why it was blocked? My dad probably saw me on it but... I don't think he would do that to me (oh how dramatic). We recently got a new router and something about a d-link (we might have gotten a new one... I'm not sure). So are there any technical things that blocked it?

When I got to Myspace it says "401 The web site is blocked by administrator"

Also, I'm the administrator. My dad is the first administrator (like the one who installed the internet and everything). Is there any way I can unblock the site?

A girl at work told me that her husband is receiving text messages on his cell phone from something called hotadultsms. She is worried this is some kind of dating site, but when I looked it up I could only find a porn site with a similar name. Are there porn sites that send text messages, or has anyone heard of this "hotadultsms"?

I am thinking of living in my travel shoppe this winter, can anyone offer suggestions on the best way to get internet access? My work depends on it and I am clueless about traveling and being able to get online to work. Use a cell plan? Satellite? or is there some other possibility?

Right now, the only maintenance I do is...
Once a week I scan with Norton Antivirus,
about every 2 weeks I run SpyBot and Adaware.
I know this is bad, that there are several more things I should be doing.
Should I scandisc regularly?
Should I be defragging?
Should I be deleting temporary internet files, are there other files that should be deleted, on the regular basis? How do I get rid of all the ones that need to go?
What else do I need to do to get my computer running at an optimal level?
How do I check for and get rid of problems like... incomplete programs that did not install or un-install correctly, hardware installation and un-installation, unused and corrupted drivers.
Also what programs should be regularly updated, for example...Java, Quicktime, flashplayer, DirectX, Shockwave player? Do you know of any sites, where I can check to see if I need updated versions of any of these or other needed programs.
Should I check on updating my ActiveX controls, how?
