Cell phone ringtones and porn.
He must have got a ringtone from there or someone else did it to him.

Basically at some point or another the husbands mobile number aka (MIN = Mobile Identification Number) was provided to that site and entered into their database. Usually this happens via opting into a campaign which means the husband texted a keyword into a shortcode via some call to action or entered his MIN on a website. This also could have been an error by another user entering the wrong MIN on a website.
How do you stop these? First try replying to the message with the words "stop", "quit", or "end". If you continue to get the messages reply "help". Replying help should return a message with information regarding whom is managing the campaign. It will most likely be a third party aggregator that is pushing the messages for their client. Once you know who is managing the campaign, google them and reach out to them to have them remove you from the databse.
Replying one of the above three words should work though I won't go into the relationship advice. Deal with the husband as you with! :)

A quick search on Google and I found that others are also having the same problem.
There is an ad to download ring tones from "hotadultsms", which allows the site to spam your cellphone according to the story on Google.
There is also a site listed for "hotadultsms", but I wouldn't click the link, because if they can spam a cell, just imagine what they could to a computer.

It looks like an adult chat/text messaging service. Kind of like text message porn. They claim that they also offer "clean" text messages and other services such as; Clean Chat, Flirt Chat, Adult Chat, Tarot Readings, Trivia & Anything Answered, Domination Chat, BBW Chat, Fetish Chat.
The messages are probably being sent by moderators rather than someone who he's having a relationship with. He's probably paying for the service too. Kind of freakish but it doesn't appear to be a dating service.

Welcome to the wonderful world of phone sex. Adult text messages are not a bad problem (little dumb, though) but using up your text minutes on that junk is silly plus it may lead to other nastiness. Tell you friend to hand her husband a clear plastic bag for him to put his phone in for "safe phone sex". He may get the message.
