How many computers were sold between 1995 and 2000? Between 2000 and 2007?

I'm looking for how many computers were sold worldwide between these years, including both personal (laptop) and desktop computers among all brands (Apple, Microsoft, etc.)

The big question is - "how do you define computer"?

And that's a serious question - even with the high number of personal computers sold, the *majority* of processors sold are in what are called "embedded systems". Things like your MP3 player, your cell phone, your microwave, and so on.....

Is this a trick question ? like how many burgers (no cheese) were sold in the whole world between 2000-2005 ?
