i cant view my background picture what settings do i need to change?

If PC then what Operating system are you using? Usually on Desktop you right click in your desktop screen, then select 'properties' then select the 'desktop' tab. then select the picture you want for your background, then click 'apply' ...if you don't see the background picture that you want, then click on 'browse' and browse through your hard drive to where you have the picture stored ...then select it ...then click on 'apply' ...That should do it.
