i have bought an expansion for a game on pc but the thing is my C drive is close to being full though my E drive still has around 200gig left on it the game is intalled on C how would i transfer it over to e without reintalling which i dont want to do could i just right click on the folder in program files and send it to E ?

I'm writing emails and things on my laptop and every now and again what I'm typing will just stop appearing. If I have the cursor in the text box it reappears where the mouse is pointing but then you get half sentences all over the page. If I have the cursor outside it just stops altogether. Why is this and is there any way of getting it fixed?

Here is the problem..
i need to increase disc space of winxp partition as it's recommended to have 20%free space at least in winxp partition.
Currently i have 3 partition magic soft-apps norton,powerquest and paragon ( pretty new version).Powerquest failed in the past to resize Winxp partition.Now i'm scared about using those partition magics cause my latest winxp installation cd is not bootable (incase my os fails to boot from HD )although bios is set for boot from optical drives(cd/dvd's). Any useful ideas,please?

I have been having trouble with my computer turning itself off. It does this all of the time. It is not a heating issue. i have talked to a lot of different people from msn, verizon, emachines and microsoft. they all told me to try something different and none of it worked. nobody can seem to help me figure out the problem. i have windows xp. i would really appreciate any advice. thanks

I have an image file about 2.7 gb. I wanto burn it into a CD but i could only found 700mb cds' and there si not enoguth space. I bought a 4.7GB dvd for the imag owever when using Nero 7 Premium it will say that taht teh comilation will only funtion in a
cd. WHen i switch to burn it in a dvd. the BURN button will change to and OK buttom ..and im asked ot save teh file somewhere when asked ot insert the dvd. my computer (or NERO) doesnt recognize the dvd.

there is another thing..why does it asks me where to save my image when i already have an image.. i just want to BURN ito a dvd.

i tried with the cd..it recognizes it but sicne its ony 700mb there is not ebnought space.

Is there anytoher burnign application i could use..or if im doign anythgin wrong in the process of burnign a cd usign nero please tell me ste by step how i do it.

I used to have a JumpDrive Secure II USB drive and it had the ability to create a secure partition on itself that required a password to access it.

I recently bought a JumpDrive FireFly (because it holds much more data than my JD Secure II did).

I want to know if there is any program that can create a secure partition like the one on my JD Secure drive that is accessible on any computer by entering a password.

Why does it take a long time for my computer to transfer items(pics, doc, etc.) into another file, floppy-disk, or into a CD. What can I do to increase the transfer speed? I do not have any software or programs installed into the computer. Do I need to buy a newer processor? or what do I need to buy?

I download from Limewire. I have Windows Media Player now, although I'm used to ITunes (which I no longer have). My entire operating system on my PC had to be reinstalled, so that got rid of ITunes.

I have no clue how to transfer downloads to Media Player and burn a CD from them. Any suggestions?

I am using a cable modem. I can use it for about half a hour before it gives me a limited or no connectivity pop up. in that case i have to restart my computer. Is there anyway i can fix this problem because its aggravating when i surf the internet and have to restart the computer just to continue. HELP! when the computer runs i get an IP address of 86 but when it doesn't work and has limited or no connectivity i get an IP of 169.
