dont bother its turned my computer from a ferrari to a robin reliant!

Once at the Nero website you can locate the information your require. Nero is not a free software. However, if you purchase certain new CD/DVD drives, they come bundled with the Nero software. While it is still not technically free, as you have to pay for the hardware device, it is a less expensive way to aquire the software.
You can also purchase external CD/DVD drives, some of which contain the Nero software too. If you are unsure how to exchange a hardware device inside your computer, (it is not difficiult at all, just read the instructions) then the external device could work for you. Or, you could simply purchase the software from the website.
