How do I keep AOL's messenger service from popping up or starting when I start up my computer? My son uses it so I can't unistall it without taking it off of the entire computer. Is it possible...HELP...it's such a pain in the neck and it slows down my start up time, everything will freeze until that has come on.

I often hear songs I would love my grand daughter to have on a cd and would like to custom create one for her from puter downloads. can I do this ? I create my own special effects for videos. I've done everything from drawing a moustache on my arch enemy to making entire videos. It only takes me about 30 minutes to make a five or six minute video. Is this weird?? Nothing near MIT standards, but hey, I got years till college!! (PS, this is Viseda Emiyoe, not Kezenz/Kisinz)

for about a week i havent been able to get on yahoo exept for answers and yahoo uk. i bought spy sweeper, cleared cookies, tried firefox and ie and still nothing. this seemed to happen for no reason i don't know why. i can't contact them either because whenever i click on help it comes up with a blank page. ive asked others and im the only one who gets this problem. i can go on yahoo if im at school with my laptop or on their computers but at home my laptop refuses to go on yahoo and my sisters computer also refuses to go on yahoo. someone please help. i need my email.

what's actually the difference between e-mail programs such as windows mail/outlook express/mozilla thunderbird with those like gmail/yahoo mail? what i understand is gmail/yahoo mail need to run on an internet browser while windows mail/outlook express/mozilla thunderbird are standalone programs installed in your pc. once i tried to save my mail from yahoo mail into my thumbdrive so that i can read it offline but i dunno how to do it. then my friend suggest me to use windows mail since that's the only way possible of doing it but he too never done it before. if gmail/yahoo mail can be accessed on any machine online,then what's with all the hypes when windows mail was launched back then but none of my friends use it???

Hi!

Making a film and was wondering if there's any way you can make it black and white but have an object in colour?

Basically, it's a women walking down the street but i want everything black and white, but have her coat coloured in, which is Red.

Any help would be great. Also if you know any software that can do it?

Basically a little while back I had to do a system restore. I now have only 400mb free space on my D: hard drive, where as I have 90GB free on my C: drive. It is only since I have restored the system that the hard drives size have gone a bit pear shaped.
The D: drive is purely just Windows things.
I have De fragged, system scanned etc. etc. Basically I think the computer is running slowly because I have such little space on my D: drive now.

Is there any way I can speed it up?

Okay so one day my computer was working fine. Then when i inserted a CD which contained pictures and some other stuff, My computer started getting slow and lagging. I ran some scans but nothing came up. The computer then started restarting on its own, giving me no error message and no Blue Screen. I right clicked my computer--> properties-->and uncliked []RESTART AUTOMATICALLY.But I found out that it still restarts. Now the puzzling thing is that it has no particular time patern to restart but only when i go to Start-->run and type anything (msconfig, or chkdsk C: /f, cmd) it restarts and when i try to download an antivirus software it resarts. It also restarts when i try to look for which .exe process can be a virus online.(e.g when i search smss.exe or lsass.exe on websites)
Someone told me to go to Start-->run type msconfig and Disable all process. After doing this I cant loggin yahoo or hotmail or anything. I cant use my scanner.Now i cant undo
Im on Wndows xP sp2. HELP!

out of there computer we found one that takes out 5 of them but if you dont purchase it after those 5 come back she has over 983 problems found in this computer and what can we get for free to take them out at no charge its a vista

I use Windows Media Player. I want to take all the music I have a put it on DVD for a back-up. The problem is I dont know how to do this, and when it's burnt into the DVD will it be converted so when I want to put the music into a new computer it will then be in a different format (example: mp3 to protected mp3)? 10 points to anyone who can give me instruction that accually work!!!
