wats a file with the extension ".DATA" for? can anyone tell wats its purpose? and wat program deals with it? thanks a lottt

.data files are often seen as .dat files as well..

These are system data files and not to be fooled with unless you are 100% sure of what your doing. Every program of a reasonable size has one or two of these files.
