56 year old dinosaur, are you getting to know me yet :) what kind of dvd, cd or exact thing do I need to use to save digi pics to and I have always saved them to my computer folder for fun. Now they are being stored for legal evidence for my attorney so i need to know exactly what to do and how to do it.

I mean some games don't work on it, printers, fax machines, and other hardware there aren't drivers for yet.
It is beyond me why people just don't stick with xp or 2000 NT and give the people at Microsoft time to get the bugs out of Vista first before they go HOG WILD over buying it. I mean come on people the first set of updates aren't out for it yet and the companies who make other products that work on computers don't have drivers ready for Vista either.
It just seems silly to me to buy a computer that all of your other gadgits won't work with.

Im gonna get a new PC, and I have to transfer all my documents from the old one to the new one. Old computer, so I cant use a pendrive or a CD, My floppy hardly holds anything. I thought of storing it online on one of those private storing sites. Is it safe? Got any other ideas? Help ME!! Thanks!

I click on 'hotmail' but all I get is this white screen. Down on the bottom it says 'opening page....(too long/fast for me to read and remember) and then 'done' and then it repeats what it said first and then done and the cycle continues. The whole time the screen stays white. I was just checking email less than an hour ago and it was fine.

I am trying to troubleshoot a no browse issue. I have tried everything else, except system restore. I went into safe mode, because I am connected to my dsl. I cant browse there either. What is wrong?

The thing im askin is went to gamefaqs and downloaded a game save file for my final fantasy tactics advance (its on my computer) the file type is sps and i dont noe how to load it to me vba(gba) emulator if u do respond plz dont tell things to download that "MIGHT" work like scanning things and etc. unless ur sure it will work and plz make sure it safe meaning it can give virus or anything if u got nothing 100% accurate the "MIGHTS" are ok. also the file is the one with where u double clik one it and the thing comes where it says "use the web to find a appropriate file or "browse for one on ur pc.

how long have we had avatars in our mail program??
here at questions and answers what would we click on if we had no avatar or a picture we uploaded to see the options we can now
or options other members see when they clck or hold mouse over the picture
a link with a date etc when avatars started is a sure winner

How I can send it to someone who is blind.
She uses a program called Jaws and is not
familiar with Rapidshare, or those types of
programs. She can unzip a file but this one is to big to send via E-mail. Can someone tell me how to do this. She really wants this book.
Thanks for any help. I am sighted so I can help her once I find out how to do this.

System recovery i think is the process i must use. Since ages my computer hasn't let me sign into any sites like hotmail, ebay facebook and i've had enough i want a new start, where can i find all the original setup files for my software, i'm going to save my files onto dvd, any other tips? Should i just save the whole folder "program files" onto dvd?

Some online games are just for spanish or chinese speakers and the text inside are all the natives word. But how do they input the letters besides using english letters? Do they need some kind of program to do it? I tried using language tool bar but i can only type it on internet explorer or microsoft office and not on a game program application..

Any tricks I need to be aware of? I have a blank D drive, and an XP-Pro full install disk (with the key).

Specifically, how would I be able to boot into XP-Pro, if the normal boot process points to the active partition on the C drive?

My computer wont let me watch videos on youtube. it says "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. " so i go to download flash but it wont let me download it. Also, i cant delete any messages, the 'delete' button wont do anything! or any of the others! and the 'click to select all messages' thing dosent work. Can anyone tell me what to do!?
