Well, if all you can find are sound clips shorter than that, try finding one where the beginning and end sound similar. Then use a sound editing program (such as Audacity) to "loop" the sound clip. That is, copy the entire clip, move your cursor to the end of the sound, then paste the copy as many times as necessary to make the sound clip three mnutes long. Hope that helps.
