I am running Tiger, and have a G4 iMac. My budget is limited (less than $10).

Help! I've been dual booting windows vista and ubuntu linux, and it runs smoothly most of the time, but sometimes windows just decides not to boot. It gives me a loading bar with the fancy vista logo, and after that, instead of going to the login screen, it goes to a black screen. This has happened twice before, but the tools in the system recovery thing promptly fix it. But this time is different. I boot in to windows system recovery, it loads, i briefly see a command line window, and then just a blue screen. The system recovery wizard is coming up! I even tried booting in to the system recovery cd i got from hp.
specs: compaq presario v6000, vista home premium, ubuntu feisty fawn.
help please!

My nephew just graduated from Law School and his starting salary is going to be $110,000. It kind of got my down because I have been working in the field of Computer for several year and I don't make nowhere near that kind of money. Does anybody have an idea of a field of Computers that I can go into the make close to that amount (something other than management)

i have a habit of typing without having my fingers on the homerow. i just have my hands floating and i move them around to reach the keys. can i be a good typer doing this? right now i type about 35 wpm and am 13 years old. if i continue doing this, can i be a fast typer?

Okay, my friend changed my ip address so I could dl something but he left but my internet hasn't worked since then... and it's been a week. =_= I know he used the start /run
method but I have no idea how to redo this.

*also I know the internet works because we have more than 1 computer.

when i go to start, i always used to be able to click on outlook express to get to my email account but now i can not seem to, why? i also would like to now how i can get back to just clicking on the outlook express icon and it wil automatacly go to my email, thanks in advance.

I'm not talking about a dual layer dvd-r or dvd+r. I'm talking about a double sided blank dvd-r or dvd+r that has the standard 4.7 gigs of space of each side or whatever. I'm trying to look online and buy them but I can't find them anywhere. :-(

It will work for a while, but then I've been getting the following error:

Google is giving me no problems. I scanned with 'avast' last night, and it removed a few items (as usual).

I don't know why, but my computer's clock isn't working and it's completly messing up the hardware I put in. I already went to control panel and adjusted the date/time, but every time I restart the computer, it always says Monday,January 01, 2001, 12:00 AM. Also, automatic internet syncronization doesn't work.

For the past week or so when I have turned on my puter the dial-up connecter pops up automatically and it will not let me cancel it out. I sometimes use wireless instead of dial-up and have had no problems with this box coming up until recently. If I click cancel or the x box, the box will go away and come right up again. It will even do this when I am not trying to use the internet at all. If I open word, that box pops up in the way making my computer unusable (it won't minimize, just stays in the way) until I connect to a dial-up connection. I haven't been able to use this wireless thing at all since this started.

How do I get this to stop?
