As most of the responses have said it could be that your computer is overheating, have you checked your fan to see if it is operating correctly? sounds like the processor or motherboard is overheating...
If there is a lot of dust collecting around your fan it could cause it to slow or stop working because dust can sometimes clog the airflow...
I'm not sure what type of computer you have but I can walk you through opening the side so you can check to see if dust is the problem (if it is then the dust can be blown off with compressed air).
See your computer shuts down and won't let you turn it back on as a safety precaution because a processor can be destroyed by overheating in a matter of seconds so once the temperature reaches a certain point everything shuts off.
If it is a heating problem you can also purchase this http://www.nextag.com/laptop-cooling-pad/search-html
but only if you have a laptop
Are you hearing any beeps when this happens? you don't usually get a beep if it is a power supply problem but here are examples of what you might be hearing
http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm
Does it let you log on at all like past the welcome screen?
you can also check this website for better answers if I am probably not being much help at this distance.

As all have said above it could be a number of things. However, from the spec of your PC you have a lot of heat being generated, so your fans may not be adequate. I had the same problem with new RAM and other stuff on a PC that ran fine for 2 years as well. It did exactly the same as you for mnths and drove me mad, but I'm not saying yours it the same problem. What I did was take off the side panel, checked everything as advised above, then stuck a big desk fan right next to it to blow cold air in it, before and while it was running. This stopped it happening, untill I took it away, then I got the BIOS click (quietly) to tell me it was getting hot again. I put it back and it was fine. I scanned the whole thing when booted, and the other 2 drives I have, as they all generate heat, then I bought a dual fan for £7 to fit inside to compensate for it all. It has never faulted since! It's worth a try as you have added a few bits that are not standard to the motherboard. Hope this helps.

It could be several things. What I would try first is to uncheck the reboot at all errors, it could be some small error that is causing your computer to keep rebooting...
When you can get it to come up,, R. click the My computer icon, click properties,, then advanced tab, toward the bottom there is a box, "startup and recovery", in there uncheck reboot at all errors
Doing that and if it stops rebooting you will know it is a software problem and not a hardware problem, like overheating that is causing the rebooting.,, if it is software you can, do a system restore , go back a few days when you didnt have a problem.. Of course if it is a hardware problem, you will have to get it repaired, You could open your case and make sure the fans are turning when the computer is booted up, thats an obivious way to look for overheating.

Is it a laptop or a desktop?
I think everyone who said it is overheating is right.
Mine was doing that a couple months ago.
If it is a desktop, open the box and make sure the vents for the fan are not clogged with dust. Leave the box open until everything cools.
Do not keep turning it back on if it shuts off because of overheating. Damage may result. :-((
Make sure the box is well ventilated at all times.
If it is a laptop, you may want to get a cooling pad as others have suggested. I have heard that laptops are notorious for overheating.
I hope this helps you :-)) xxx

Sounds like one of two things. Both of which have been mentioned. Either a cooling or power issue. Check the fans and if they are working or need cleaning. If that's okay, you're power supply may be on the fritz.
But when dealing with electrical problems, you should always check the obvious first. Is the power supply going to the computer good? Is a circuit breaker in your house popping on and off? Is the power bar you're hopefully hooked up to okay? Anything else turning off in your house when the computer does it? That's what I'm getting to.
Good luck Moon:)

Leave it off for a while. It could be the temperature of the computer too high. Air conditioner in the room could help but after letting the computer rest for at least 30 minutes.
If that don't work. then your computer is taking his last breath.

The best thing to do, Moon is see a computer technician the soonest possible time before your computer barred down. Hurry up because you will be missing your friends. And we will be missing you. Just what happened to me last week i have to go the Internet Cafe just to keep track with you people. I can not take without answering and questiooning for a day. Good luck and hope you listen to my advice. Thanks.

It's most probably a virus. Shut it down for 15-30 minutes. Then turn it back on. If it still does the same. You need to run a virus scan. Good Luck! :-)

you might have a virus or your machine is over heating.
1. check if all the fans on your CPU is functioning properly.
2. you might have a malfunctioning power supply or memory
3. type msconfig on run. click on startup and disable everything that you think your pc doesn't need. if ur not sure try disabling everything. first then restart.
scan your pc for viruses.
if it still restart reformat it then reinstall windows.
