I press Ctrl-Alt-Del and task manager takes a long time to come up. What can I do to change that. Is there any registry hack to change the priority of it?

There are few things way your task manager runs poorly
1 Maybe your computer has a virus
2 Or task your systray is full of running programs
I think hacking the task manager is not a good idea for one reason is that the task manager is the one used to change the priority setting. Basically what your trying to do is change the priority of a program which is used to change priority
anyway for more tips in doing so try checking out www.freewebs.com/gamersedg/ or try to download a program called speed-up i think you can download it at aldostool you can change priority setting with it.

Shouldn't take that long. There's no hack to change its priority. I would try keeping your open programs at a minimum if thats at all even possible.

I might be because the computer is busy, or that your computer is slow.
