I download from Limewire. I have Windows Media Player now, although I'm used to ITunes (which I no longer have). My entire operating system on my PC had to be reinstalled, so that got rid of ITunes.

I have no clue how to transfer downloads to Media Player and burn a CD from them. Any suggestions?

The simplest way in Windows Media Player is to drag and drop each song you wish to burn into the Burn list. Click the Burn tab, then select the songs you want to burn and drag them onto the list at the right. After you have placed all the songs you wish to burn, and arranged them into the order you wish them to be on the CD, simply inset a disk and click Burn.

You can select Burn options in the options dialog box. You can also select a couple of well used options right under the Burn menu. Click the small arrow under the Burn button, then place a check mark next to Eject Disk after Burning and Apply Volume Leveling across tracts on Audio CD. Or, go into Options via the Tools menu, then Options, click on the Burn tab, and set options as you prefer.

It is all very easy in Windows Media Player.

However, if you really enjoyed iTunes, why not download and reinstall the player? It is free, so there isn't any reason not too do so if you really liked that program.

Good luck and have a nice day.

P.S. If your tunes are not showing up in Windows Media Player, you need to tell it to Monitor the folder you have downloaded the tunes from Limewire to. Go into Options, click the Library tab, then click the button Monitor Folders. In there you can direct Media Player to monitor that folder and all your tunes you download from Limewire will automatically be added to your Windows Media Player Library. Then, you simply select the songs you wish to burn, and drag and drop them onto the Burn List at the right.

Yes you can. I have burned 3.

It's really easy. Just get all your songs that you downloaded from limewire together, insert the CD, drag and drop the songs onto the empty CD folder and burn the songs. Once you get your CD's back just test it onto a DVD player or CD player.
