That's my problem. My computer doesn't have any virus nor low ram. Just tell me what I should download because I'm really confused. My computer, by the way, is Intel Pentium 4. Windows XP Home Edition. If there's any more infp you need, just tell and I'll add it. Thanks.

For school I need to write a paper on a career of my choice. I have always liked tearing things apart, finding out how things work, and designing things. So I picked computer science because I would like to learn more about it and possibly go to college for it. I love old DOS games, and play them on my windows XP through "dosbox" emulator. But I hear an actual DOS computer runs the game smoother. Is this true? If so, what computer do you advise I get? A DOS computer? Or would Windows 95/98 due? THANKS!

I AM NOT COMPARING MAC AND PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes i use an intel mac and i simply love it I do think pcs are good. Fact PC is great at gaming(unless you have a Dell) and Mac is good for, well everything els and there is one thing that even mac haters can agree with a mac user, windows movie maker sucks i also want to know who here loves or hates and acctuly used an intel mac

When you turn on a Gateway computer the give you the option to do that and restart the whole Starting up the computer process as if you just bought it. But my question was how can i do that but save one file.?

I have a PC at the mo but i kinda wanna get a laptop cause it is much smaller and dosent take up much space.But i looked at more question like this and some people said that it isnt As powerful as a PC. What do they mean by that.I really like to watch videos (youtube) play Music, games jus all stuff to kill time not so much for work anyways.would i be able to do this and More on a laptop or should i jus stick with my PC ?

HI! I have a question, everytime I try to scan my computer using the AVG Anti virus free edition the ntoskml.exe and the shell32.ddl keeps coming out on the list of result/infection column and it keeps saying change..what does it mean by that? Is my computer is in danger or something? what can I do to repair this problem? thanks

Once I have downloaded YouTube videos to my computer (as a .flv format), is there a way to convert (or whatever) them so that they can be imported into itunes? Or is there a way to seperate the audio from the video?

I use my 2nd 80gb hard drive for music/picture storage. Each day there is a folder created with random characters such as "4e2f25d6cacc8........" Each folder has one .txt file. The filename of each file is msxml.[various characters]-enu.

Any idea what these are? Can I delete them?

I have an HP Pavilion dv9000z laptop.
XP/Media Center Edition
About 1-2 months old.

I have a Presario and I am in the process of trying to free up space on the computer. I just recently downloaded CCleaner to do some repairs and it has an option of deleting items that I couldn't do before. My question is I want to delete "Security Update for Windows XP (I counted 15 of them), Windows XP Hotfix"( many of the as well), and "Update for Windows." Should I delete these and will it disrupt the computer in someway?

right i bought a xbox 360 wireless adaptor what sticks into the back of the 360 ok, and ive figred out that you need wireless interent is there any other way i could join xbox, and i dont mean go out and buy a ethernet cable could i put my computers IP address into the settings and if i need a wireless internet router where is the cheapest place i could get one from??

Ok I won something for 10 bucks and asked the seller if Possible to ship it to another address seeing the Item was a gift to someon. That Person said thats fine because its going to have conformation. Anyhow, I went to Pay for the Item and it asked to edit my address for the seller to ship it to. Ok thats fine.But?? since its not my Living address and i put another address would it show conformed address even thou i have changed the name and the shipping address?? I mean its My Ebay account. I would like to Buy something and try it again but i don't want the Buyer to say hey i need a Confirmed shipping address? Dose anyone understand me question and have an Answer?
