I love old DOS games, and play them on my windows XP through "dosbox" emulator. But I hear an actual DOS computer runs the game smoother. Is this true? If so, what computer do you advise I get? A DOS computer? Or would Windows 95/98 due? THANKS!

If you've ever tried playing an MS-DOS game with a 500Mhz processor in any DOS environment it would be completely unplayable and fast. Programs like MoSlow can slow down these games, making them playable. Now you can use a moden hardware with older MS DOS games.

Twice I've heard of 'dosbox', yet never knew there was such an animal.. However, I play dos games on my xp equipped laptop and they work fine..
Remember, you also have access to the dos prompt through your OS..
