I would like to think that a laptop is more convenient for space and if your just killing time why not get the lap top. Then you can kill time at the bus station, mall, or even sitting a the park. I have a lap top and it is perfect for my life style. I am pretty busy sometimes and all my work is on it so if I am going on a trip w/ my hubby, I just ride passenger and do my work(or play games depending on the time and place.

The main difference between Laptop and PC is price. PC's are cheaper for the same amount of performance. So it just depends on how much you want to pay. I bought a $500 Compaq laptop last year and it meets my needs just fine. I just would not use it for heavy graphic intensive games, but I am not into those anyway.

Im a gamer and always use the computer for heavy downloads and multi-tasking etc etc and i preferred a laptop for myself. it is VERY comfortable and suits all my needs. Best of all, it's portable and I don't have to deal with all those wires that you have to hook up behind a PC.

From reading your description I'm assuming that you use your computer for small purposes and for that, I'd say u defenitely go with a laptop. You're never gonna regret getting one.
