Ok I won something for 10 bucks and asked the seller if Possible to ship it to another address seeing the Item was a gift to someon. That Person said thats fine because its going to have conformation. Anyhow, I went to Pay for the Item and it asked to edit my address for the seller to ship it to. Ok thats fine.But?? since its not my Living address and i put another address would it show conformed address even thou i have changed the name and the shipping address?? I mean its My Ebay account. I would like to Buy something and try it again but i don't want the Buyer to say hey i need a Confirmed shipping address? Dose anyone understand me question and have an Answer?

No, it would not be a confirmed address. Why would it be? You haven't confirmed it. And you will be unable to confirm it, since it's not your address.

And I would refuse to ship there. Your seller must be quite ignorant of the paypal protection rules if he is willing to ship there. You can't ship to an unconfirmed address and receive paypal protection.

The seller loses Paypal seller protection if they ship to an address other than the Confirmed one. It's up to the Seller. Some will; some won't. Just ask BEFORE you bid next time ; )

I see what you are getting at.

All you have to do is notify the seller of your plan to ship it somewhere else. Of course you need to give them the address that you want it shipped to.

You do not need to edit the address in the ebay checkout. Just make sure the seller knows what address they should be sending it to.

Are you paying with Paypal? If so, when you pay, there's a box for note. Just let the seller know that you would like the item send to another person.

they most be new to ebay ----as long as you pay me with pay-pal and i have your e-mail ok- ing the address change i don't see the problem...during the Bid time ask your seller via ebay email your questions...they will tell you their polices...good luck

You might be tagged as a defrauder. It's always safe to contact their customer service department to ask for a better suggestion.
