I was looking through my Local Settings in the Temp folder and browsed in the Temporary Internet File when I found hundreds of pictures (some of which I'd never seen seen before) in a few (so far) of the folders. I put most of them in the recycling bin but haven't deleted all of them just in case they're supposed to be there. I was just wondering if it was safe to get rid of them. Can anyone help?

i am using utorrent client. i have installed zonealrm fire wall and my net connection is though a proxy server. whenever i start downloading a torrent, i get a message "unable to map UPnP port"... and download doesnt start,.. how can i solve this?

I just read another question and someone said they have 2 monitors for 1 computer (CPU). Does this mean that they can actually in a sense have only 1 CPU and still have 2 functioning monitors hooked to it, both able to get the internet independently and have their own keyboard? How do you do this? Is there a certain way you have to plug another monitor into the same CPU with another computer, or do you need a special cord or something? Also, is it possible to have even more than 2 monitors on 1 CPU? How many could you have

I have a Windows XP. Up till this morning, it was working just fine. I shut it off before going to bed last night and this morning, when I pressed the startup button, it sounded like it was starting but then it went off. The startup button flashes periodically too, even if the damned computer is unplugged! If I turn the powerstrip off and then back on, then press the startup again, it sounds like it's coming on for a fraction of a second and then goes off. It won't start! What happened and what can I do about it?

I would like to make my computer as close to silent as possible. Can anyone suggest any accessories to get and what case. I currently have a 6600 and a amd athlon 64, 3200 and was wondering what the best passive coolers are to get. Also i would like a decent case to improve airflow to cool the radiators. My budget is probably 100 pounds or near that. I am also looking to get another 512 mb ram and was wondering if anyone can give any suggestions. Thanks please answer.

i just started having a problem with my computer it wont load up. iam sure i just installed a program containing a virus.

it loads till i see my desktop and no icons with a message cannot load "msconfig" how do i create a start up disk when i dont have a copy of my windows XP?

when a game crashes and you are unable to use ctrl+alt+del to stop the application and pressing esc to leave the game dosent work whatother options are open to you
i was playing a game the other day and none of the above worked so all i could do was manually restart the computer which is not the best thing to do
is there any other way to exit a game after a crash?

insert disc in CD drive, but there is a disk there. We can play his music CDs bought from the store, but nothing else. Then, we tried putting the DVD into his Sony DVD player and received msg no data to read. On my computer I can open both CD and DVD. We both have a Dell. What is happening? Did I do something wrong buring both? Or is it his computer. I went out and purchased DVD and CD RW... I would like to try again but afraid to waste more disks pls help!!!!
