When i right click any local drive in my computer the first selection is auto, it means when i do double click the drive it is not gona open, please let me know how to solve this problem.

Okay techie's,
please help.
I cannot seem to get on the internet via my Wi-Fi. The status shows that I am connected to my friends profile yet I have no access to the internet. Our wireless router is new, all my settings seem to be in order...any thoughts?

im trying to do a complete system restore. or basically bring my computer back to pretty much how it was the day i got it. i have all my files backed up and the drivers that i need on an external hard drive. what id really like to do is delete EVERYTHING thats on my hard drive now. i have an hp zv5000. and ive done complete restores (if thats what they are called) before and they've worked just fine. now when i try to do them (ive tried 5 times already) everything is still on my hard drive. after the new windows is installed. (windows xp w/ sp2)

i tried to ask someone for help and they said that my hard drive had to be in FAT format.. and when i checked, its in NTFS. what do i need to do to get the results that i want?

too much space. My computer has been freezing up a lot lately around 30 seconds each time and when I type it's a lot slower than usual. I was wondering if it's cause of my last updates. The last 2 were:
MS XML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978)
Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474)

Do you think this could be a reason my computer is slow? If so, where do I go to delete the program and which one do you recommend to delete? Note: I updated a security update just a month ago that my computer asked me to so not sure why I was asked to update again. This is a new laptop I baught in Dec. It was working fine until a week ago.

I want to see if any is taking up too much space cause now my computer is slow when I am typing as well as freezing up every now and then for 30 secs. It freezes a lot throughout the time that I'm on the computer. So I just want to locate where my last activity was on my computer and I know it must be the last few updates I did. Thanks.

I just started using this website where you can publish articles and make a little extra money from it. It's called Associated Content.

Every time my buddy starts his lap top he gets a svchost.exe error. I am familiar with it, so I checked the registry editor for it. Turns out, he has some program that deletes files in registry folders... so I assume it remover the svchost file and left the rest in the run folder. I also wonder if it's binded to Internet Explorer or in some dll file. It does not show up in virus scans in safe mode either. Any ideas?

I think the fastest is the Bluegene but I cannot appreciate how fast it is until i can relate it to what we use.like i hav a 2.66GHZ computer.whats the bluegene?like 10000GHZ or something.I need figures like that to appreciate how fast it is.Teraflops mean nothing to me.

the JPEG images form my digital camera are not working !! , it used to be fine befor , but since last week when i get the images from the camera and i wanna preview it , it sayd no preview available, but only the new ones im takin in my camera, and the strange thing is the other images on my computer are working fine, so whats that, and by the way, the images that are not workin for my are workin perfectly on my sister's laptop.
in again and in brief, that since a week ago JPEG images from my camera are not prewieng on my pc while they do on other, and the old images on my pc are workin fine , so its only the new ones !!!
so whats that,!!!
plz help me
