...i have text books in pdf form. id like to have them read to me. ....is there an easy way to do this?

You can listen to any PDF instead of reading with Adobe Reader 7 .0 Or 6.0 : -
Ctrl+shift+b - to hear the entire Document
Ctrl+shift+v - to hear the page
Ctrl+shift+c - to resume
Ctrl+shift+e - to stop

And there are options in MS Office to read the contents.. but i didnt remember now.

You should be able to do a search for text reader or something. Or possibly just go into accesibility options, I think in accesories menu, and tell your coputer you are blind and everything will be audible. I know you can get a program to read for you though.

simplest way is to open it in Opera Browser select the text and press V
(First time it'll install the plug in, then life is just audible)
