Is there a way I can have explorer start at "high priority"; I'm talking about Windows Explorer not Internet Explorer. Thanks

I recommend that you don't do this - windows is not very forgiving with respect to this sort of stuff and you need to know what you are doing. If you are still desperate for this do a search for UITweak programs and they will help you.
