Oh sorry.... how remiss of me as I normally post a monthly reminder to everyone to clean their computer equipment including keyboard.
Some of the things that are tucked away are best kept in a handkerchief and disposed of down the drain. Uck!

Get a can of compressed air and blow the hell out of it, Don't shake the can it can do damage, read instructions. Give the fan a blast as well to keep it quiet.
PS it will not remove paper clips/ staples / cutlery /false teeth etc.

Had to replace a kbd in a Wang terminal one time because of a coffee spill. Inside there were enough breadcrumbs to feed the 5,000 and some of their mates.

NO, Idon't have to as I have made good use of my air bed pump, It's great fo blowing everything from my keyboard, also handy to blow the dust out of the inside of my p.c. also aquired a make-up blusher brush from my daughter for brushing the dust too.Works for me.

twice when I pissed all over it afer coming home drunk and mistaking it for the toilet! (on 2 occasions!, how wasted is that! i have to add, i threw the keyboard out both times and brought a new one)

There's loads of burnt ciggy-ash under mine!!!! And in it! Try getting the hoover out! Whilst your about it. Hoover the fan too!!!

Yesh and you're right it is messy.. i just did it then and here are some of the things that came out..
* Rice
* biscuits
*mashed up crisps
* some sort of brown thing
.... gross lol

I hear if you stick the keyboard into a dish wahser should clean it up. I never tried but people say its ok.
