you can't, as far as I know. Try importing your WMP Library into iTunes. If that works, then sync iTunes with the Nano.

Trust me, I've tried to do this with my new nano for about 4 days untill I finally gave up and downloaded I-Tunes. I-Tunes sucks... or at least I think so. But really, unless you are a professional computer genious... you can't use Windows Media Player. Apple* makes it so that the Apple brand Ipods cannot be read by any other program but I-Tunes. So the Windows Media player won't even recognize your Ipod. Sorry. I've already tried myself.

Open I-tunes and then under the file is an import option. Just import that file and you'll have it. Once the song is in your itunes update the information on the song like artist and title so that it's listed right so you can keep organized. I-tunes is also free as far as I know. If you have an I-pod or something similer but don't have I-tunes it wouldn't make much sense.

get carry of iTunes for unfastened on the apple website. as quickly as that is put in circulate your songs from homestead windows media participant onto it. it is going to ask you in case you prefer to transform the documents. click sure and it will convert all the music into the right ipod format. the subsequent time you plug on your ipod it is going to immediately sync on itunes and circulate your library to it.

you have to import your music from my music, and put it onto itunes, because that is the only way you can actually put it onto the ipod. In itunes, go to file, then go to add file to library, and then look for the music. If you want to add a whole folder, like all of my music, just go to add folder to library. :]

You can't. Apple has made it so you can't use anything but itunes. If you can afford it, buy an iRiver.
