When i go to advanced settings it says by default computer is set to use greater amount etc. adjust for best performance and clear cache the program button is marked for both should system cache and/or background services be marked. What is cache anyway?

I am using DVDFab platinum to copy and then burn my dvd's. I went through the copy process then it said please insert a writable disc. I inserted a Verbatim DVDRW disc and then the program said ERROR please insert a Dual layer Disc. I thought Dual layer DVD drives could write to anything Single or Dual. Does anyone know what I need to do?

I have all of Microsoft Office 2003 (access, excel, word, etc) and I'm trying figure out a way to make a document in which I can print a menu and labels to go with it without having to type everything twice. The format for the menu has to be organized by day and meal (we do a 3 item lunch and a 2 item dinner daily). Each label must have the day, meal, and individual item on it. I think it can be done in Access but don't know how.

I have checked to Options and all seem to be default, so why is it when I open a file that was created on a different computer, it's a;; over the place?

It won't recovery internally. Is there a program or way to do it. I haave an important document, but I am a poor soul and can't afford $90 dollars for an expensive program. Is thatere a free or almost free proram to fix it so I can open it.

My PC is infected with a virus that has attacked the masr boot record and encryped it. The virus is called Stealth_boot .C. It is nasty. Applications are locked up and refuse to open. I cannot back up my last bits of information. I can't disifect the PC with McAfee's antivirus utlity. Do I have to get a whole new hard drive?

What does this error message mean on startup (before all my programs launched)?

Windows cannot find 'C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\Scanner\PPUPDS~1.EXE'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

I am using my fiance´s computer to do an Excel spreadsheet, and everything is in Deutsch. I cannot find where I need to go to insert a row.
Can I insert a row without the insert key? There should be another way I can do this but I don´t know how-yet.

I uploaded 2 videos on youtube and whenever I try to view them it just says: "The video you have requested is not available.
If you have recently uploaded this video, you may need to wait a few minutes for the video to process." But I waited like almost an hour and it is still saying that. So why is it still saying that even after I waited almost an hour? Will the videos ever be processed? How long will it take?

Some of my friends, or some girls I met on the internet, seem to be NEVER connected. It's quite strange, I don't know if they don't have time to connect, or if they blocked me...

Someone told me that it's possible to know it, especilly with some secret knacks that we can do on the hardware and the computer.
