Hi is this this possible, im trying to make a back-up copy but instead of using a whole load of disks id rather use one disk for one series, i know the friends disks are 2 sided but is there a software which i could mabe shrink to to one disk?

i have recently rebooted my windows xp computor because i got a virus i used the cd that came with the computor its purple and called operating system reinstallation cd microsoft windowa xp home edition
but after reinstalling i have been stuck with crap coulor and rsolution i do not have a display driver i have look i dont no what to do it says it not got any more than defualt witch is medium 16 bit coulor and 640 by 480 resolution and thats it can you help me ??
also when i go to play sound it says i have no sound card can you help me on that to thnkx ??

I downloaded a avi movie and burned on to a dvd - r disc, but can't watch it on a dvd player. What am I doing wrong? It works on on dvd drive on pc.

I only catch it doing this once a day, so instead of fighting with it I do something other than computer work for about 5 minutes; then it's usually done. I'm using XP with all updates. When I had 98 I never had this happen. I don't have any problems with my operating system; delete cookies and temporary files regularly, defrag once a month, etc...

I have a PC (PIV with 512mb RAM) with Linux operating system and I am planning to shift the plateform from Linux to Window XP.

I came to know that there are two different Operating Systems in Windows XP. One is Windows XP Pro. OEM and the other is Windows XP Pro. Full Package. Please suggest what OS should I purchase for my old PC. Is there is any difference in cost also?

in the last 3 years since opening up a paypal account, my account has been hacked and i have lost a few hundred dollars in the process..i had taken of any cards that paypal requires to have to purchase items. i had put back on to do a freidn a favor and someone hacked into my account in about a week and cleaned our what funds i had left. i have taken measures to get my money back but how can i prevern this from happening again??

A few weeks ago my computer got a spyware infection. I wasn't able to change my wallpaper because of this infection. I thought that once I got rid of the spyware everything would go back to normal, however I'm still unable to change my wallpaper.

this problem only started today. suddenly in every single website i go to i can no longer see any images or backgrounds or anything, i can see the text and i can see the links but it always says at the bottom of the screen "downloading pictures 1 remaining" and then it just stops, no matter how long i wait. does anyone have any idea what's causing this or what i can do to fix it?
