I really need help with this, but for computer's we've been working on databases and using microsoft access. For my homework, I have to work on these questions, and this particular one I don't understand. The question is:

1) Complete a two-level sort in ascending order. Primary sort is
‘Last name’ and the secondary sort is ‘First name’.

Exactly what does this question mean.

Basically it means if you have two or more people with the same last name, but different first names, it will sort by last name first, then by first name.

In a table/query you can sort on two columns

ie:

14 john
15 sam
14 anne

you can sort on both age and name so..

14 anne
14 john
15 sam

to do it you need to (while in a tbl) look in 'records' -> 'filter' -> 'advanced filter/sort'

hope i didnt give too much away
