i have many computer working on window xp. i want to update all computer which is connected through lan by one server.i dont want to run window update software on all computer seperately.

you don't have a choice on this. the update work off the update software install on each computer. it has to scan each one for then if you have the automatic update on , you'll never have to worry about this anyways. turn it on.

You should use WSUS. It is a free program provided by Microsoft.

You install it on the server. Then you can use that computer to control which update to be installed on the computers on your network.

It is very easy to use. Just follow the guide and you should be fine.

umm... just set the automatic update time on each computer and make the times like a min off on each computer just for speed wise....
